Experience the emotion of scoring great goals in EA SPORTS FIFA 14. The game plays the way great football matches are contested, with innovations to the award-winning gameplay that inspire fans to build play through midfield, dictating the tempo of a match.

Feel the tension as chances are created, and experience the thrill of hitting the back of the net. A new feature called Pure Shot and a brand-new ball physics system will transform shooting, making every shot attempt feel real, and when players connect with the perfect strike, feel exhilarating.
FIFA 14 delivers engaging online features and live services that connect fans to the heartbeat of the sport  and to each other  through EA SPORTS Football Club. FIFA 14 is footballs social network, where fans connect, compete and share with millions of others around the world.

Features
Pure Shot Shooting has been transformed. Players have the intelligence to adjust their stride and approach angle to find the best position for hitting the back of the net. Well-hit balls feel satisfying and goals are rewarding. As well as quality strikes, players can now shoot while off balance or rushed.
Real Ball Physics  Strike the ball with more force and finesse. Realistic ball physics now determines the trajectories of balls in game, enabling players to strike the ball with force from distance, drill low rising shots with accuracy, and blast dipping or swerving shots, just like real footballers.

Protect The Ball  Dominate midfield and dictate the tempo of a match. Fend-off and block defenders from the ball while dribbling at any speed. Protect the ball from opponents to control play through midfield and dictate the pace of the match. Plus, out-muscle opponents for position before receiving the ball, then turn defenders to carve out opportunities.
Teammate Intelligence Better decision-making delivers tighter, smarter marking and improved run tracking. Defenders recognise opportunities to provide support and win back possession. Attacking players have new ways to outsmart their opponents and break down tighter, more intelligent defences by creating space for themselves, running along the backline and checking their pace.
Sprint Dribble Turns Utilise quick, explosive cuts and turns to beat defenders one-on-one while sprinting with the ball. Players can move in any direction, preserving their natural momentum and maintaining possession of the ball.

Variable Dribble Touches The First Touch Control of dribbling varies a players touch when dribbling with pace. Skilled players have the touch and control to stand out while less skilled players will experience fewer perfect touches and more uncertainty dribbling, creating opportunities for defenders to win back possession, and placing emphasis on building play through midfield.
2nd Chance Tackles The tackling zone has been extended to enable defenders to combine different types of tackles, recover from missed tackles quickly, and have a second chance to compete for the ball in any tackling situation.

Curling Lofted Through Balls Players have the ability to curl the ball around opponents to deliver precision passes to teammates or send the ball into space.
Skill Games A competitive practice mode that enable players to learn or master the fundamental skills necessary to compete at FIFA 14. Become a better player, faster, no matter what your skill level, competing against yourself or friends in all-new mini-games.
Career Mode Search for talent year-round with the new Global Scouting Network that brings the world of professional scouting to life. Develop and refine your own scouting network. Evaluate footballers to uncover the attributes of players who could bolster your squad during the transfer windows. A new hub delivers easy navigation, fewer interruptions and live scouting reports.

Posted by MZone On 18:30 1 comment

Batman: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman:
Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montral, the game
features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel
storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and
Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the
franchise. Taking place before the rise of Gotham Citys most dangerous
criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a
defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path
to becoming the Dark Knight

Features:
The Arkham Story Begins: Batman: Arkham Origins features a pivotal tale
set on Christmas Eve where Batman is hunted by eight of the deadliest
assassins from the DC Comics Universe. Players become an early-career
Batman as he encounters for the first time many of the characters that
shape his future.

Enhanced Detective Mode: Think like Batman with an all-new Case File
system that allows players to analyze seemingly impossible-to-solve crime
reconstructions in real time. Combining Batman's cowl sensors with the
Batcomputer, players can digitally recreate crimes and study detailed
simulation of the act as it happened.

Gotham City will learn to fear Batman: Take back the sprawling streets of
Gotham years before its transformation into Arkham City. Glide above or
battle your way through new and ever more dangerous districts in the quest
for justice. Prevent crimes in progress, take down gangs of violent new
criminals and explore deadly new locations, from the impoverished streets
to the penthouses of Gotham's wealthy.

Gotham's Most Wanted: The city streets are filled with more than just
Black Mask's assassins. Locate and take down Gotham's most violent and
dangerous criminals to earn unique upgrades.
Lethal New Enemies: Fight new foes such as the Armored Enforcer, the
Martial Artist and more each of which challenge players to approach
Batman's FreeFlow Combat scenarios in different ways. Classic FreeFlow
combat is expanded with every new opponent and with Batman's abilities
to engage them.

New Gadgets: Utilize Batman's signature gadgets or take advantage of
powerful new additions such as the Remote Claw, the Concussion Detonator
and more. Use the Remote Claw to create new routes by deploying strategic
tightropes or directly attack enemies by stringing them up from vantage
points. Ready the Concussion Detonator to stun and disorient groups of
opponents in close combat.

New and Familiar Characters: Experience a fresh take on iconic Batman
characters including Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Deadshot,
Anarky, Captain Gordon, The Joker, Copperhead, Firefly and others yet to
be revealed.
New Online Mode: Play online with friends and foes in 3v3v2 gameplay
that blends traditional Arkham gameplay with third-person shooter
mechanics. Hunt as Batman or Robin against the most challenging opponents
yet friends and other gamers online or take a walk on the dark side as
a Super-Villain Elite and be part of The Joker or Bane's gang. Gamers
playing as a Super-Villain Elite will also have a chance to seize control
of either The Joker or Bane for a limited amount of time.

Download GTA V for PC

Posted by MZone On 06:07 No comments

Los Santos is a vast, sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and once-important, formerly-known-as celebrities. The city was once the envy of the Western world, but is now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and reality TV. Amidst the chaos, three unique criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a former street gangster in search of real opportunities and serious cheddar; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Quickly running out of options, the crew risks it all in a sequence of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.

Here are the 10 best things about GTA V:

1. Crash test, dummyOne of the important tricks with any game is to make sure failure doesn’t seem like too much of a downer. In GTA V though messing up is often the best bit: especially if it involves creating a huge pile-up and watching people catapult through car windscreens like they’ve just been shoot out of a canon. The crashes in GTA are physical comedy at their finest, and all while only virtual people get hurt. Thanks to the fact that GTA V also some fantastic explosions purposefully trying to create the biggest mess you can is always rewarded. Especially if you have sticky bombs…

2. Tennis and golf don’t suck
Well, maybe they do if you don’t like that sort of thing but one of the most impressive things about GTA V is that all the extra features we’ve been hearing about these past months – like the jet ski races and Chop the Dog – are actually really good, not just thrown in there to sound impressive on a press release. You’d expect tennis to be good, given that Rockstar already have some previous with their Table Tennis game, but the golf simulator is also surprisingly decent and a perfectly acceptable alternative to EA’s recent games if you want to keep it meta.

3. Crime pays and so does real estate
Previous GTA games have had a habit of adding features that sound really cool on paper but in practise mean almost nothing when you get into the game. This is certainly not the first GTA game where you’ve been able to buy property but it is definitely the first where it’s actually mattered. You can buy all sorts, from cab companies and cinemas to a marijuana shop and a restaurant or a gun-running airport and a hillbilly bar. But not only does this generate you money every in-game week but it also provides you with even more extra missions to complete, as your employees ask for help doing everything from picking up extra beer for a big party to evading the coastguard.

4. City limits

They say size doesn’t matter, but really… they’re wrong. GTA V is Rockstar’s biggest game ever and not only that but all of it is open for you to explore right from the start. There are no bridge closures or tornado warnings blocking your way, even if the story elements do try and slowly unveil different areas at a more civilised speed. And yet all that would be meaningless if there was nothing to do in such a huge game world, but almost every mountaintop, beach cove, and crevice has a secret to hide. Even if it is just a hillbilly swearing at you.

5. The truth is out there
Everyone knows about the UFO and Bigfoot rumours from GTA: San Andreas (the first game to feature Los Santos) but this time they’re real. We think. Without wanting to spoil anything there’s certainly something funny going on in the mountains of San Andreas and the radio is full of stories of hikers being abducted. We’ve certainly noticed some unexplained phenomena ourselves and given there’s an achievement for collecting spaceship parts there’s clearly some physical evidence too…
6. Character switching works
Having three different playable characters seemed a little weird at first, given there’s no co-op option in the story campaign and the idea of character switching sounded a little unwieldy. But it actually works really well in practise as you pop in to see what everyone’s doing – and find out it’s usually something pretty funny (or disgusting if it’s Trevor). But the best thing about it is in missions where switching characters allows you to customise the game to cut out all the bits you don’t like. Don’t enjoy sniping? Just be the guy driving the car instead. Not very good at shooting? Switch to Trevor flying a helicopter instead…

7. Radio GTA
GTA V’s massive soundtrack is already famous, with its selection of a gazillion classic tunes across every music genre known to man. There’s something there for everyone but the best bit is still the talk radio stations and the adverts. Never mind the actual story, this is where all the game’s best writing and funniest lines are. Everything from the American attitude towards football to fad diets and scientology are skewered with laser sharp satire that makes a target of everything and everyone. GTA may be cynical but most of the jokes are only funny because they’re true.

8. Random pleasure
GTA V has learnt a lot from Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar’s cowboy adventure which was until now arguably their best open world game. The best feature it borrowed though is the random encounters which mean you’re never more than a few minutes away from interrupting your next mugging or watching a police shootout with bank robbers – and then stealing their loot while both sides are distracted. It’s never clear what poking your nose in will reward you with, but it’s always worth it whether it ultimately ends with a trip to the hospital or a free Rolls Royce.

9. The Heat is on
Another feature that could have gone either way is the heists themselves. They’re the centrepiece of the game but would the promise that you could plan them out yourself actually lead to any meaningful decisions? Actually it does. Not only does choosing your crew have a big effect on how much money you earn, and how smoothly the job goes, but the big decision of which plan to use means that there’s basically two separate missions in one. Even choosing where to hide the getaway car has a big impact on your success.

10. The best is yet to come?
Maybe GTA Online will turn out to be a horrible mess that doesn’t even work properly (actually it probably won’t work day one, few ambitious online games ever do) but given the quality of GTA V’s single-player that’s hard to imagine. Although no one outside of Rockstar has ever got to play it the online mode allows you to play with and against friends with an experience that’s at least as big as the single-player – with over 500 missions, customisable characters you can create from scratch, and lots of story elements like the main game.
